STORY AND WAKE UP CALL


Taco Bell owns late night, not early morning. But its Toasted Breakfast Burritos are worth setting an alarm for. We made breakfast so dreamy, you’d wake up to chase it.


Sometimes I ask for extra work. And sometimes I get it.

I had the chance to help out on a bigger campaign for Toasted Breakfast Burritos by writing the radio spot that accompanied the broadcast spot. This was one of my first VO records and I immediately fell in love with doing them: where else can you seriously say things like “do you have a softer ‘burrito’ in your back pocket?” to your sound engineer?


When we gave out free Toasted Breakfast Burritos, we created an activation to let fans sign up for a Taco Bell wake up call so they wouldn’t accidentally sleep in and miss the offer. All they had to do was text “WAKE UP” to 1-866-WAKEUP3.

Here are some of the pre-recorded wake up calls I wrote.





As with any QSR campaign these days, I also wrote TikToks and a food-forward spot to promote it.
